What is DAR?
Why I Joined DAR
I'm a very patriotic person. I love God, reading, traveling, sewing, the outdoors (except the bugs), and family most of all.

"As far back as I can remember, I have heard of the Daughters of the American Revolution. I have always thought how wonderful to be able to trace family back to the beginning of the United States, and now I can!
DAR chapters have always been associated with communities, with helping veterans, children, women, and different organizations. To me it is like being able to continue on with work that our forefathers did when establishing the colonies. Just as they fought and helped each other to have freedom for the communities they were building, we can help many people in need in our communities. I believe it gives a person a sense of pride, accomplishment, satisfaction, and a feeling of belonging."
Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer organization dedicated to historic preservation, patriotism, and education.
